Footpaths are one of the main ways that help communities protect themselves from environmental hazards. The Vunivasa District School serves the communities of Nabuna and Vatulele, and includes 144 students. Led by Nicole Schaffer, a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer from the community, this footpath now provides clean footpaths that promote hygienic practices for the community. Friends of Fiji contributed $975.60 to this project in 2020.
