Friends of Fiji Annual Pot Luck Dinner & General Meeting.

You are invited to the Friends of Fiji Annual General Meeting and Pot Luck Dinner. Jim and Polly Reierson have graciously offered to host this event at their home in Arlington, VA. All are welcome to attend. Guests will begin arriving at 5:00 PM. Pot-luck dinner will start around 6:00. A very brief business meeting will begin at 7:00. Those unable to attend in person may join the business meeting at 7:00 via zoom.
The meeting will include the election of the Board of Directors for the upcoming year, and any other appropriate business. If you are interested in the possibility of serving on the Friends of Fiji Board of Directors, please let us know in advance by emailing a brief biography (including details of your connection to Fiji) and what skills and interests you would bring to [email protected]. The Board generally meets virtually once a month, so you don’t need to live in the DC area to be a board member. Our biggest need at this time is for a webmaster, so if you have skills in that area please consider helping us out.
Weather-related changes will be announced on the Friends of Fiji website (www.fofiji.org) and by email. The snow date, if needed, will be at the same time and place, one week later, Saturday, February 1.
