The Annual General Meeting and Pot Luck Dinner of the Friends of Fiji was held Saturday, January 23, 2010 at the Fairfax, VA home of David and Willa Downes (Fiji I RPCVs). Approximately 30 people attended . The business meeting included the President’s annual report by FoF President Rob Bartel and a discussion of the upcoming fundraiser.
If you are interested in the possibility of serving on the Friends of Fiji Board of Directors or helping with the fundraiser, please email FoF President Rob Bartel at rbartel@endo-society.org. The Board is especially in need of members interested in website management, finance and communications. The Board generally meets about once a month in Arlington, VA.
